"Good Value in Zurich" The Leoneck Hotel was just what we were looking for in Zurich - good value and good location. It was close to the train station although we had to walk up a sizeable hill with our luggage, and was a short walk to the center of town. The room was small but nice and clean, even a balcony. They let us check in at 11am and gave out free bottled water due to a hot day.

"Wonderful Stay" Absolutely the cleanest hotel room we have ever stayed in. All hotel stay were quite friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view of the church next door. I cannot possibly imagine "all of the noise" that a previous poster referred to as the hotel is not on a particularly busy street. That said, it is just a five minute walk from Hauptbahnhof and the waterfront. We just can't wait to return.

"A lovely and clean hotel located very centrally." I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and was very impressed with the service from the friendly staff, the clean rooms and bathrooms. It is definetely value for money giving you all the comforts that you need away from home. The desk clerk, Evon, was particularly helpful providing maps and very good directions on how to get about. Overall a very good stay at this hotel.

leoneck Hotel /April 2006 This cow hotel is o.k. no frills. Rooms are small & clean . Bathrooms recentley redone. Hotel needs t.l.c. Staff is good,location is great. Also there is a no frills restaurant & small bar area in the hotel .

"Nice, fun hotel" The hotel was very close to the train station, which made getting there so easy. Everything in Switzerland is expensive, which makes this hotel a good place to stay as the price is lower than most. The decor is fun and young, and the rooms are comfortable and bigger than expected.

"Moooo-ve Right In" I arrived at Zurich's main train station a bit weary and, as usual, with no reservation! I punched a button at the Hotel Reservation Kiosk and this is how I discovered the Leoneck! A short Tram ride on the #10 or #6 will get you there in a few minutes and if you have lots of luggage just rent a locker and leave it at the train station. The entire staff are very frendly and the breakfast was basic but nice. When you check in they give you a little plastic cow which you exchange for your breakfast! I concur the beds are comfotable, the back rooms are quieter and you can indeed feel the Tram vibrations in the morning - but folks - this is Europe, enjoy it! They also have Internet for rent in the lobby. When you get settled just stroll down the hill, or ride the Tram or hop on the Cogwheel to the old city and then walk the loop along the lakeshore and back up the Bahnhoffstause and enjoy a very compact but thriving little city. My girlfriend is a bit fussier than me when we travel but she would like it here so be bold, embrace adventure and give it a try. A single cost me CHF 110 and I stayed a total of four nights.
