"Great location, very nice hotel" We stayed here for three nights and found this hotel to be great. The hotel is 10 minute walk from the train station, so it's easy to take the train from the airport and walk if you don't have many bags. Once there, you are within walking distance of the old town and the lake as well as lots of shopping. The rooms were small, but clean with all the basics. Our room faced the street so we did get a bit of street noise through the night. Staff was very helpful with information and directions. We'd definitely recommend this hotel for Zurich.

"Best location in Zurich" Wife and i stayed here for 5 nights late March. Room was basic . Hotel staff very friendly as opposed to some earlier posts? I have been to Zurich several times and i would say that this is the best located hotel in Zurich based 30 seconds from the Bahnoffstrasse and right next door to Jimoli department store. As this hotel is located in the middle of the Bahnoffstrasse it is situated with amongst the department stores to one end and the more expensive shops to the other side. The asian restaurant attached to this hotel is great (had one of the nicest Tom Yum Soups) i have had out of asia here and well priced for Zurich! They also do a great breakfast. Will definately stay here next time although you need to book early as this hotel seems to be heavily booked most days and i believe they may have also double booked a couple of rooms whilst i was staying there. Great hotel - keep up the good work.

"Excellent hotel" This place is well located, along the Bahnhofstrasse and a short walk to the hauptbahnhof. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel staff are also very accomodating and friendly, one of the better experiences I've had in Europe. I highly recommend this place.

"Very nice hotel" My wife and I stayed here for the Ironman Switzerland. We got a very good room rate utilizing the Ironman's hotel listing on their website. It is very centrally located, being a short walk to the Bahnhof, Bahnhofstrasse and the Old Town. Many restaurants are also a short walk away as is a large Migros. I found the Front Desk staff to be extremely friendly and helpful with our questions and for booking tours. The housekeeping staff was also good. The hotel's continental breakfast was good, although the selection could have been a bit larger. The rooms were a decent size for a European style hotel and very clean. Unfortunately they had no air conditioning and we were there when the temps were around 90. They did have a floor fan, but it didn't help much. The bathroom was fairly large and we had a small balconey overlooking the street and had a few chairs to relax on. The lobby had the use of a free computer to do emails and check the internet, which was a very nice extra.
